What Are The New Terms of The Monetization Application?
YouTube has given 4 conditions in their new update to monetize the channel. Firstly, the channel must have at least 10,000 views, secondly, the channel must have 4,000 hours of watch-time, thirdly, the channel must have at least 1,000 subscribers and the 4th condition is very much like that the above 3 conditions must be filled in. The channel cannot be monetized until these 4 conditions are met. Moreover, if the 1st 3rd condition cannot be fulfilled within 1 year of opening the channel, then the channel can never be monetized again.
How Many Videos Do I Need to Upload to Get Monetized?
It is difficult to give an accurate answer as to how many videos can be monetized in a channel. However, the channels that have videos at regular intervals get monetized quickly. This does not mean that with 3 videos every 3 months. It is best to upload one video a week or at least two videos a month as a best practice. There are many channels that have 200/300 videos but no video has many views. It is a bit of a hassle to get monetization on those channels. In all these cases, YouTube assumes that the video does not have much value or impact. In some cases, videos from many channels rank too late. It does not mean that it is not the choice of YouTube.
If there are at least 20/30 videos in a channel and other conditions are fulfilled then monetization can be applied. Many people think that the condition has been fulfilled with 5/6 videos, so I apply it. YouTube now manually reviews each channel and in many cases. The reviewer will not be able to understand which category the channel actually belongs to. Because there are many of us who give 10 types of videos in one channel. So try to create a video of a specific category for YouTube to easily understand the category of videos.
